Our founders and story

While working together at the forefront of employment issues in the technology sector, Aoife & Ailbhe shared a vision of providing a holistic approach to addressing workplace conflict and culture challenges. Together we have built a business that delivers on that vision for clients.

We believe in being genuine and empathetic in every interaction, valuing transparency and honesty above all. Our approach is grounded in real conversations, building trust through meaningful connections and always staying true to who we are.

We are recognised for our deep experience and solutions-focused approach to workplace investigations and dispute resolution.  In conducting culture reviews, our focus is on practical and effective strategies, providing clear, straightforward and pragmatic guidance.  

We provide services to a wide range of clients, including those in the financial services, education, technology, manufacturing and healthcare sectors.

Aoife Forrest
Director and Co-Founder

Aoife is a qualified Barrister, and specialised in employment law during her years in practice at the Dublin bar.  She spent several years working as the in-house employment lawyer for Ireland’s largest bank and later set up and led the bank’s Internal Investigations unit, reporting to the Head of Ethics and Compliance.

Most recently, she was engaged as the Director of Employment Dispute Resolution & Investigations Support at Meta, following several years as the Director of International Investigations for the same company.  Leading a global team of investigators, she was responsible for bringing complex international disputes to a conclusion through investigation/mediation, as well as for the creation and delivery of compliance trainings.  

Aoife is a CEDR accredited mediator since 2012.  She is the author of the Mediation chapter of Employment Law, 2nd Edition, (Bloomsbury Professional).

Ailbhe Murphy

Ailbhe began her career as a solicitor in Arthur Cox before spending nine years as an employment lawyer in Daniel Spring & Co, where she advised and represented clients in a wide rage of sectors in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.  She worked for a number of years as employment counsel for EMEA at Groupon, providing legal advice and support to the company and carrying out extensive work in the area of European Works Councils.  

More recently as Director of Employment Investigations at Meta, she led a team of investigators across EMEA, APAC and LATAM, in addition to conducting some of the company’s most sensitive and complex internal global investigations.  She also created and delivered specialised internal training and acted as a mediator across the company’s global offices.

Ailbhe is a CEDR accredited mediator, holds Diplomas in Employment Law (University College Dublin) and Applied Finance Law (Law Society of Ireland) and is General Editor and co-author of Employment Law, 2nd Edition, (Bloomsbury Professional).
